How Jukara handles your personal information when you browse, customise, and order from our online store.

1. Who we are
Jukara ("Jukara", "we", "us") operates the Jukara website — an India-based online store for ready-made and custom-printed apparel (T-shirts, combos) and related products (e.g. mugs), including our design Studio.

2. Scope
This policy applies to information collected through our website, checkout, customer account (when enabled), contact form, order tracking, and email communications related to your purchase. It does not cover third-party websites linked from our store (e.g. payment or social media).
3. Information we collect
- Identity & contact — name, email, mobile number, shipping address (street, city, state, pincode) when you checkout or contact us.
- Account data — if you sign in, we store your email and profile details via our authentication provider (Supabase) for order history and reviews.
- Order & payment — items, sizes, prices, order ID, order status, and payment references. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store full card or UPI credentials.
- Custom designs — images and placement data you upload in Studio, linked to your cart and order for production only.
- Reviews & support — ratings, comments, and messages you send us (including order ID for faster help).
- Technical data — device/browser type, pages visited, and cookies or local storage for cart, wishlist, and session preferences.
- Delivery partners — we share name, phone, address, and package details with courier partners (e.g. via NimbusPost) to deliver your order.
4. How we use your information
We use your data to:
- Accept, process, print, pack, and ship your orders
- Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and respond to support requests
- Verify pincode serviceability and estimated delivery at checkout
- Enable order tracking and post-delivery product reviews
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised transactions
- Improve our catalogue, website, and customer experience
- Comply with applicable Indian law, tax, and accounting requirements
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers for their marketing.
5. Legal basis (summary)
We process data as needed to perform your contract (fulfil your order), with your consent where required (e.g. marketing if we add it later), and for legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, in line with applicable Indian privacy principles.
6. Sharing with service providers
We may share limited data with trusted processors who help us run the store, including:
- Payment gateway (Razorpay)
- Hosting and database (e.g. Supabase, Firebase)
- Email delivery (e.g. Gmail SMTP or transactional email providers)
- Logistics and courier aggregators (e.g. NimbusPost and their courier partners)
These parties may only use data to provide services to us and must protect it appropriately.
7. Cookies & local storage
We use essential cookies and browser storage for cart, checkout, admin sessions, and preferences. You can clear them in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
8. Retention
We keep order and invoice records for as long as needed for customer support, disputes, and legal or tax obligations. Custom artwork may be retained with the order record for reprints or quality disputes. You may request deletion of account-linked data where we are not required to retain it.
9. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls on admin tools, and industry-standard payment handling. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; please use a strong password for your email account linked to orders.
10. Your rights & grievances
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing orders@jukara.in with your order ID or account email. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
For privacy-related complaints, contact us at the same address. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate as permitted under applicable Indian law.
11. Children
Our store is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors without parental consent.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
